Canis Therapy at CCCD
28/06/2015 - 11 Tammuz 5775
A special therapy, Canis Therapy was introduced at the Child Center for Child Development. Communicating with the dog helps children with special needs to raise self-esteem, stabilize their emotional state, feel less lonely as before. Close contact with warm furry dogs helps with muscle tension. Stroking and treating dog, the child learns to talk, reduces emotional tension, and improves sensitivity and fine motor skills.
