Chamah has been successfully operating day care centers for small children with the support of the Israeli Ministry of Labor and Department of Welfare. The high standard of education, level of cleanliness and efficiency of the Chamah Day Care Centers has drawn the attention of many day care centers around Israel. Representatives of other centers frequently visit Chamah in order to implement their successful methods at their own day care centers.
Employed parents need to place their young children in quality child daycare centers. Our current day care center has reached capacity and cannot accommodate the many children on their waiting list. The good news is that the new Chamah Day Care Center is swiftly nearing completion. Through the local municipality, the Israel Land Authority has allocated Chamah an 11,750 sq. ft. land for a day care center to accommodate 100 children. It houses four large classrooms, service areas, large yard etc. Although the construction is mainly government funded, Chamah is responsible to furnish and equip the center.
The high quality early education provided at the Chamah Day Care Center gives the opportunity for acquiring skills needed to learn and develop. It lays the foundation for growth and education which will continue with them throughout their school years. Within the daily routines, the children are also encouraged to develop their independence and ingenuity.
Children who attend the Chamah Day Care Center, demonstrate positive outcomes in many areas such as physical, emotional and cognitive development, language and communication, fine and gross motor coordination abilities, healthy social interaction and more.
