Chamah International celebrated their 30th Gala Dinner & Concert this past month at the Jewish Heritage Museum in Manhattan. The dinner marked 65 years of changing the lives of the elderly and needy and educating the young through their many humanitarian and educational programs in Israel, the United States and Russia.
It was an elegant and memorable affair; the overflow crowd was treated to a state-of-the art concert, delectable buffet and a gourmet dinner. The Russian-speaking Jewish community came out in large numbers to pay tribute to the four esteemed honorees, who in turn praised the ever-expanding scope and dedicated work of the Chamah presidium and staff.
May we celebrate next year in Yerushalaim!

Jewish American Heritage Month is an annual recognition and celebration of Jewish American achievements in and contributions to the United States of America during the month of May. President George W. Bush first proclaimed the month in April 2006.
This year, members of Chamah participated in the event held at the Senate Caucus Room on Capitol Hill honoring their dear friend, the world-famous Rabbi Yechiel Eckstein, Founder and President of IFCJ.
Prominent members of the U.S. Senate participated and heralded the accomplishments of this year’s honorees as well as Congress members from both parties.
After gourmet dinner several of our supporters had a private meeting with Senator Bill Cassidy in his chamber, which was very congenial and productive.
