10th Annual National Russian Shabbaton

Chamah will be hosting its 10th Annual National Russian Shabbaton on Presidents Day Weekend, February 15, 2019. With over 1,000 participants from across fourteen states, Canada, and Russia, it has become the single largest event uniting the Russian Jewish Community in the United States.

Seniors and veterans were treated to a beautiful trip to Jerusalem which included prayer at the Western Wall and two museums; "Friends of Zion" and the Hebrew Music Museum.

Nutritional Support for School Children, Ofakim

Located around the Gaza strip, Ofakim has known much hardships; missile attacks and fire balloons have burned approximately 8,000 acres of land in the area. Chamah eases their daily struggle by providing nutritious breakfasts to children learning at the Elementary Ofakim School.

Children at the Mofet School in Jerusalem marked Memorial Day in honor of fallen and wounded IDF soldiers who gave up their very lives for our Homeland Israel. Independence Day was also celebrated.
