Chamah Moscow - Joint Venture of Kindness

A joint and productive venture between Chamah Moscow and the Moscow Municipality created humanitarian assistance for needy families in the region. Over 500 families gratefully received food packages from Chamah volunteers.

Olim and veteran immigrants with their families from the southern region of Israel enjoyed the festivity which included lively music, delicious foods, best costume contest and of course plenty of drinks to liven up the atmosphere. From afternoon till late night the attendees thoroughly delighted in the party!

Sukkot Holiday at Chamah

Fred and Evelyn Shvetz Visit Chamah Institutions in Moscow

Mr. & Mrs. Fred & Evelyn Shvetz, long standing supporters and dear friends of Chamah visited the institutions of Chamah in Moscow on September 10th,2008 Moshiach Chudaitov, Executive Vice President of Chamah accompanied them to "Gan Chamah Educational Center in Moscow", "The Day Care for the Elderly in Moscow", and the "Humanitarian Center" which began in 1992 with a soup kitchen founded by Fred's father, Mr. Alexander Shvetz, Of Blessed Memory. Rosh HaShanna celebrated at Chamah

Over the Rosh HaShanna holiday, Chamah hosted at its campus close to 100 immigrants. Throughout the country they came to experience an inspirational and traditional Rosh HaShanna. The guests greatly enjoyed the customs for the New Year and of course the holiday meals with delicious cuisines. At the close of the festival the Olim had but one wish; that Chamah invite them once again for next Rosh HaShanna!

Sukkot at Chamah Kiryat Malachi

Over the Sukkot holiday, Chamah hosted 100 students from the CIS studying at the Na’aleh Program of the Jewish Agency. The students immensely enjoyed the warm hospitality that Chamah offers its guests.

Students from Be'er Sheba University enjoy weekend at Chamah Campus

In the series of weekend retreats hosted at the Chamah campus in Kiryat Malachi, the weekend prior to Rosh Hashanna was dedicated to a group of students learning at the Be’er Sheba University. The main theme being “Creation of the World and Modern Science”. The students were amazed at the comfortable accommodations, meals and lectures arranged for them.

In honor of the upcoming New Year, Chamah arranged a festive evening to celebrate the upcoming Rosh HaShana at its campus in Kiryat Malachi. Hundreds of immigrants from the Russian Federation enjoyed the program which included a festive meal, greetings from the local Mayor and toasts to the New Year! Chamah extends warm wishes to all of its kind supporters and friends a very healthy, happy and prosperous New Year!
